Just wanted to share some of my latest wreaths. I’m working on football, fall, Halloween and Christmas. I’m excited about the upcoming Allardt Pumpkin Festival that is held in our local community each year. I will have a booth at this years event which will be my first time. This is a huge event for us which includes a giant pumpkin weigh off, a beauty contest, costume contests, auto show, singing, lots of vendors and a parade. I’m sure I’ve missed something, there is so much to see and do. It is one of my favorite events of the year.
These are the fall wreaths I have available in my Etsy Shop.
Welcome in the spring with this adorable bumble bee wreath on your front door. Your friends and family will enjoy how cheerful it as they enter your home.
I’ve not been able to post for the past few weeks. It’s been eventful. For several years we have been very fortunate in Tennessee during the winters we have had very little snow. However, this year we have experienced the worst ice storm I’ve ever saw. Electric was out in several counties and has taken more than a week for some homes to have electric restored. Our home was without electric for five days. Some homes in surrounding counties still do not have electric. While we still have ice on the ground and it is treacherous walking outside, we are looking forward to warmer weather next week and hopefully all the ice will melt before another cold front comes through. I expect it will take most of our summer to clean up the damage from downed trees and broken limbs on our property. These are just a few of the pictures I took while we were “iced in”.
There are only two ways to live your life.: Chemo Care Package Ideas and Chemo Tips.
My daughter, Kara, regularly visits the cancer clinic at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. We have been brainstorming different ways to show God’s love while she is there. Now my son-in-law, Frank, usually finds someone to minister to while he waits in the lobby and turns these visits into ministry opportunities. He has a precious heart and can minister to strangers like no one I’ve ever known. Kara has such a compassionate heart and loves to minister thru “acts of kindness” She wanted to minister to the cancer patients she meets in the cancer clinic so I found this link and decided this was perfect for her trips.
Now, I seldom get to go with her to these appointments but I wanted to join with them in this ministry. While, I can’t go, I can join with them by purchasing the items and preparing the bags. God will “use” all of us in different ways to get His message of love to the world. We don’t all have the same talents and abilities but when we team up with others that have the same heart we can accomplish great things for God. I encourage you to team up with others to share God’s love in this same way in your community.
I edited the “BLESSING BAG FOR YOU” so we could place one in these bags too.
She will be visiting next week so we are off to get our “Chemo Blessing Bags” ready.
